Tameka 'Tiny' Harris' Rep Denies T.I. Divorce Reports: 'It Will Always Be Family Over Everything'
Tameka "Tiny" Harris is speaking out against rumors that she and rapper husband T.I. are headed for a split.
Tiny “has read so much about her marriage in the past few weeks that it’s time to set the record straight and really educate everyone on the facts,” a rep for the T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle star, 41, tells PEOPLE in a statement.
“Certain blogs have ‘reported’ that she’s going to be a single mom, she’s getting a divorce, she has a new residence and everything in between. On behalf of Mrs. Harris, this is the truth – Tameka and TI are good. They love each other and they have a beautiful family with seven amazing children. For them, it will always be family over everything.”
It’s been a trying few months for the couple. A man was shot and killed at T.I’s New York City show in May, followed by Tiny’s 20-year-old daughter Zonnique’s arrest for carrying a weapon through airport security in June. And as tabloid rumors of infidelity and marital strife circulated throughout the summer, T.I. himself weighed in with an Instagram post in July. “Lies will be told … but Truth will be seen!!!” read the caption. “I feel no need to address gossip or respond to peons.”
The pair have been together since 2001, and tied the knot in 2010. With seven children between them, T.I. and Tiny welcomed their newest addition, daughter Heiress, in March.
“[We’re focused on] staying together, staying friends, being understanding of one another and continuing to care,” T.I., 35, told PEOPLE earlier this year.
