We can’t tell if this is a great idea or a terrifying one. Game of Thrones writer-producer Bryan Cogman is writing a live-action remake of Disney’s 1963 animated classic The Sword in the Stone, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Stone was the last movie the studio released before Walt Disney’s death. More or less adapted from T.H. White’s novel of the same name, the film tells the story of King Arthur’s mentorship by Merlin.

The film is being produced by Brigham Taylor, who is also involved with the studio’s live-action reboot of The Jungle Book, directed by Jon Favreau.

All that said, if this reboot doesn’t have a belligerent, cantankerous talking owl, it’s not getting our cosign. Archimedes or bust!
