Burning Man, the massive yearly festival that’s equal parts public art installation and bacchanal, has only gotten bigger in its nearly 30 years of existence.

A number of celebrities have visited the Nevada festival as it’s gotten more popular, but it’s important to note that only one of those celebrities is Susan Sarandon.

Sarandon, 68, first attended Burning Man in 2013 and loved it, gushing to the Daily Beast that, “You’ll find fantastical stuff like four-story women, and when the light comes up, a half-naked woman with a parasol.”

While she declined to attend last year because her daughter was due to give birth, Sarandon’s back in full effect in 2015.

And as for the extracurricular side of the festival? “I’m not new to the idea of mushrooms,” Sarandon told the Beast. “I’ve done ayahuasca [psychedelic tea] “But I like those drugs in the outdoors – I’m not a city-tripper.”

Here’s a pic of Sarandon with her aforementioned hammer:

Sarandon’s hardly the only celebrity to visit Black Rock: Will Smith attended the fest last year, appropriately attired in a top hat and gas mask

while Diddy was in attendance the year before.

Again, though, we’d like to stress that neither of those men are Susan Sarandon, who Melissa McCarthy once described as “glowing from within.”
