Susan Boyle has signed on to sing REM s ballad “Everybody Hurts” along with a star-studded roster of other singers to raise money for Haiti.

It was announced earlier this week that Simon Cowell is organizing the charity initiative, which will also include Michael Bublé, Rod Stewart and Leona Lewis.

“The Haiti earthquake has caused devastation and suffering that most of us will never experience nor could imagine,” Boyle told The Sun newspaper. “I feel privileged to be a part of such a wonderful project that will raise money to help the country.”

On Friday, George Clooney helmed the Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief, which included appearances by Justin Timberlake, Madonna and Wyclef Jean.
