SHERRI & LAMAR
After discussing her impending nuptials for months on The View, co-host Sherri Shepherd and Lamar "Sal" Sally made it official on Aug. 13, marrying at the Fairmont Hotel in Shepherd's Chicago hometown. Fellow View co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck, and actresses Niecy Nash and Yvette Nicole Brown served as bridesmaids, while Shepherd's son, Jeffrey, 6, walked her down the aisle.
BROOKE & DAVID
Last year, Dancing with the Stars co-host Brooke Burke blogged, "'Do you want forever?' David asked. 'Yes, I need forever,' I said. It was just that simple. I would like to have a husband." And on Aug. 12, Burke got her wish, marrying beau of five years David Charvet in St. Barts. "OMG, I am a married woman!!!" Burke later Tweeted.
JOY & STEVE
ZARA & MIKE
Another royal said "I do" this year when Prince William's cousin Zara Phillips married English rugby star Mike Tindall on July 30 at the Canongate Kirk church in Edinburgh, Scotland. William and Kate – who topped off her look with a must-have eye-catching hat – attended the nuptials, which were much more low-key than their own epic ceremony. "Kate and William's wedding was amazing but ours will be very different," Phillips told Hello! magazine.
JASON & SOFIA
"I got a new tax deduction," actor Jason London joked about his July 16 nuptials to actress Sofia Karstens. The duo tied the knot in front of 140 people at her family's home in North Hero, Vt. On a serious note, London called the wedding "a fairy tale," adding, "I was really mushy that weekend."
MAMIE & BEN
Meryl Streep took a new role this summer – mother-in-law! – when daughter Mamie Gummer wed actor Ben Walker on July 16. Gummer – who wore her grandmother's wedding gown – and Walker said their vows at her family home in Connecticut among 150 guests, which included Claire Danes and Laura Linney.
CHRIS & ADRIENNE
Love – and the aroma of thousands of dollars' worth of custom-scented candles – was in the air over the July 16 weekend, when Miami Heat star Chris Bosh and Adrienne Williams tied the knot in a lavish, three-day celebration at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel. "Everything was over-the-top special," says a guest – and that's no joke: The bride wore $10,000 custom Christian Louboutins (with the soles painted blue), the groom gifted his bride a Cartier necklace and she gave him an Aston Martin.
NICK & VANESSA
MONICA & SHANNON
After quietly getting married last November, singer Monica and L.A. Laker Shannon Brown tied the knot again on July 9 – in a much more lavish ceremony at Vibiana, a 19th-century cathedral in Los Angeles. Afterward, the couple and their guests celebrated with a three-course sit-down meal before dining on hamburgers from popular L.A. chain Fatburger, which were grilled for guests under a tent.
JENNA & LIEF
Yee-haw! For their July 3 nuptials at Old Glory Ranch in Texas, Fox News anchor Jenna Lee and Navy SEAL Leif Babin kept things country. On the menu: the state's official bread Pan de Campo, as well as hamburgers, sliders, sweet potato fries with habanero ketchup, and pink margaritas, which the couple shared on their first date. In a nod to the Independence Day holiday, the couple departed the ceremony in a 1946 Mercury convertible, surrounded by their guests holding sparklers.
CHARLENE & PRINCE ALBERT
It was the wedding that almost wasn't – if you believe the rumors. But despite reports that Charlene Wittstock attempted to escape her nuptials to Monaco's Prince Albert, the bride did indeed slip on a Duchesse Giorgio Armani Privé gown and walk down the aisle on July 2, tying the knot at the Monaco Palace.
KATE & JAMIE
Supermodel Kate Moss and rocker Jamie Hince exchanged vows in a days-long celebration near her Cotswold, England, home July 1. The media dubbed it "Mosstock," but Moss herself thought of the affair as a. Moss wore a beaded-and-lace John Galliano gown, and the twosome said their vows in front of rockin' guests like Kelly Osbourne and Paul McCartney.
AMERICA & RYAN
She may be known as Ugly Betty, but America Ferrera was a gorgeous, blushing bride June 27 when she walked down the aisle at an undisclosed location for a super-intimate wedding. A few details did leak out about the nuptials, however: She wore Amsale's Christos label and Fred Leighton earrings, and superstar guests included Blake Lively, Rebecca Romijn, Jerry O'Connell and Vanessa Williams.
LILY & SAM
It was a day of double happiness for Lily Allen and longtime beau Sam Cooper when the couple wed at St. James the Great Church in Gloucestershire, England, on June 11. In addition to saying their vows, Cooper surprised guests by announcing that they were expecting a baby! "When you're pregnant you want to show that, but also be respectful, so the dress was perfect for her for that moment," said French designer Delphine Manivet, who created Allen's demure white lace dress.
ASHLEY & NEAL
"We basically planned an upscale keg party!" bride Ashley Williams told PEOPLE about her May 29 nuptials to producer Neal Dodson, held at the Nashville home of her sister Kimberly Williams-Paisley and country star Brad Paisley. On the menu at the low-key affair: good ol' fashioned country grub – served family style! Guests shared pulled pork, biscuits and macaroni and cheese. Instead of a cake, the couple served banana pudding!
NIECY & JAY
"I always believed that there was someone built for me," Niecy Nash has said about her romance with electrical engineer Jay Tucker. And on May 28, the actress and her beau made it official, tying the knot at the Church Estate vineyard in Malibu, Calif. The event was also filmed for a TLC reality special, Niecy Nash's Wedding Bash.
TONY & CANDICE
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had a role other than groom at his May 28 wedding to Candice Crawford – deejay! Romo selected the music played at the reception, held at Dallas's Arlington Hall. About 600 guests feted the couple at the bash, which included fireworks, a cigar-rolling station and a dessert bar that was a real touchdown, boasting chocolate footballs.
BLAKE & MIRANDA
Country stars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert kicked off the summer of lovin' with an appropriately Texas-sized wedding – 560 guests! – when the down-home duo tied the knot on May 14 at the Don Strange Ranch in Hill Country. The blowout included a karaoke sing-along, and the couple's dogs, were a part of the wedding party. But the event did have its serious moments: Lambert's mother, Bev, told PEOPLE that before the ceremony, her daughter had her bridesmaids pray for her. "That was very emotional for her – she had some pretty tearful moments," Bev said.
