The star of The Thundermans and Strong Medicine does the opposite of her first wedding
Rosa Blasi did the big Hollywood wedding once. For her second time down the aisle, she went way more low key.
“At my first wedding the photographer was $10,000 and the liquor bill alone was $12,000, but this entire wedding cost us less than $2,700. That has to be some sort of record!” the star of Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans says.
Blasi, 41, best known for having played Luisa Delgado on Lifetime’s Strong Medicine, tied the knot on Saturday with mortgage banker Todd William Harris, whom she met 16 months ago on Match.com.
The small, family-only event was held at Nikita restaurant in Malibu.
“Something old was me, something new was my hair extensions, something borrowed was the dress, and something blue was my OPI toenail polish!” Blasi says.
Indeed, the bride borrowed a $6,000 Italian lace dress from Mon Atelier. She also did her own hair and makeup and made her own flowers from Ralphs grocery store.
For wedding favors, she put stickers of her two 7-year-old girls – daughter Kaia and new step-daughter Ryan – on candles commemorating the event.
The only thing “Hollywood” about the ceremony, says her rep, was the officiant: actress and KFI radio host Lisa Ann Walter (Parent Trap and War of the Worlds).
Blasi’s first marriage, to former NFL player Jim Finn, ended in divorce in 2008 after four years.
