Sharon Stone, 43, has dropped her request for a permanent restraining order against Agostino P’omato, 32, an Italian visitor who allegedly showed up at her Los Angeles-area home saying he wanted to “take her and marry her.” The “Basic Instinct” star had asked for the order after a March 19 incident, and a temporary order was granted to keep P’omato at least 100 yards away from Stone, her husband, San Francisco Chronicle executive editor Phil Bronstein, and their infant son. A hearing to arrange the permanent restraining order scheduled for Tuesday was canceled because, according to Stone’s attorney, P’omato’s family took him back to Italy.
