Which States Are The Biggest Fans of Christmas Music? (Infographic)
Where should you be living this time next year according to your taste in holiday songs?
Already tired of Christmas music? Or are you more pumped than ever for the holiday?
Depending on how you feel, AccuRadio has figured out where you should be living by the time next Christmas rolls around.
The good people there analyzed the number of hours of holiday music streamed by Americans from November 2013 to November 2014 and developed this info graphic to show which states have the most holiday spirit, and which states might as well have the Grinch as their seasonal deejay.
The nation’s capital is at the top of the heap when it comes to fans of Christmas music, followed by Pennsylvania and Tennessee, with Washington state and Ohio rounding out the top five.
On the flip side, New Jersey is the most anti-Christmas music state. New Hampshire follows, and then Delaware, Wyoming (the nation’s largest producer of coal, ironically) and Hawaii fill out the top (bottom?) five spots.
Also, according to AccuRadio, the most popular holiday song in the country is Bing Crosby’s – nope, not “White Christmas” – “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.”
So for you, which state is your seasonal home? Where are you going to be this time next year?
