Stars' with Flavor: Favorite Ice Cream Treats
Pistachio rates No. 1 in this cook's book – but not by her own hand. "I don't bake. Do you think I make ice cream? Please. It comes in a tub."
The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer star sticks with a classically beloved flavor: "Chocolate chip cookie dough."
The High School Musical star has a new love. "I just found pistachio ice cream and I'm digging it!" he says.
"I like soft serve, which, in my neighborhood [of Stratford] in South Jersey, we call custard," says the talk-show host, who adds even more local flavor to her sweet treat. "I like custard with jimmies – not sprinkles, jimmies. If you order vanilla custard with jimmies anywhere outside of Philadelphia or South Jersey, people look at you like you're insane."
The actress created her own flavor combination years ago – and she's sticking to it. "It's one scoop of rocky road and one scoop of rainbow sherbet. I've done it since I was 5." If the flavors sound like they don't go together, Mendes hopes you'll give it a shot. "Trust me, the sweet and the sour is the most unbelievable combination in the world." a
"I'm pretty much a chocolate guy," says the Rescue Me star. "I'm up for any type of chocolate. Any chocolate."
The actress loves Cookies 'n Cream from Blue Bell – and goes to great lengths to get her ice cream treat. "Blue Bell is in the South. You can order it. I order four half-gallons and have it sent here [to L.A.]."
"Butter pecan," says the Laurel, Miss., native. "I'm from the South and it just tastes like Mississippi."
The New Yorker appropriately loves "Ben amp Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk."
The fashion guru keeps it simple: "Vanilla custard, and I love it with chocolate sauce."

The comic puts his own spin on a simple flavor. "I've been doing Haagen-Dazs vanilla and putting Fig Newtons in it."
When he's not heating things up on Desperate Housewives, the actor says he cools down with "chocolate mint chip. [But] I don't buy it at the grocery, I just go to Baskin-Robbins. I never buy it because I'd eat too much!"
