And for him, it's all about the atmosphere: "I've learned that I'm much happier traveling to absorb," he's said.

"There's a lot of excitement there."

But the scenic setting may not have been the best part of the trip for Dion: "If I am with Rene and my son, I am fine," she's said. "When I am with my family, I adapt, everywhere!"

It's all downhill for Hugh Grant, with girlfriend Jemima Khan at the posh French ski resort last month. Grant said he's loved France since visiting as an exchange student at 13. "When I returned to England just a few weeks later, I was smoking 20 Gitane cigarettes a day, I was a Communist, and my English parents were petite bourgeoisies."
