Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been smashing box office records since hitting theaters on Dec. 18, and is on its way to becoming one of the most successful films in history.

For starters, The Force Awakens is the fastest movie to make $1 billion at the global box office – and hasn’t even opened everywhere yet. It debuts in China on Jan. 9.

It reached the landmark in just 12 days, beating Jurassic World‘s 13-day record. (For what it’s worth, they were gracious in defeat.)

The movie also had the best second weekend in the history, bringing in a whopping $153.3 million.

With a domestic gross of $540.1 million so far, the J.J. Abrams-directed film is currently the fifth-highest grossing of all time in the U.S. It only trails The Avengers ($623.4 million), Jurassic World ($652.3 million), Titanic ($658.7 million), and Avatar ($760.5 million).

Other interesting numbers featured in the video: Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the fifth most successful movie in the Star Wars franchise when adjusted for inflation, and it had the widest 3D movie opening ever.
