Every day is Father's Day for British actor Jude Law, who got a head start celebrating this weekend's holiday with 7-year-old son Rafferty (with soon-to-be ex-wife Sadie Frost) in London on Tuesday. Law next stars with girlfriend Sienna Miller in October's What's It All About, Alfie?
Tom Cruise circles L.A.'s Dodger Stadium with the Olympic flame Wednesday, capping off a daylong ceremony honoring the 2004 Summer Games. The torch – also carried by Sylvester Stallone (to the Rocky theme song), Ellen DeGeneres and others – will have traveled to 33 cities in 27 countries around the world before returning to Athens in August.
Actors Claire Danes and Billy Crudup take a SoHo stroll in New York on Thursday. The offscreen pair will also star together in the 1660's period piece Stage Beauty, due out this fall.
PEAS IN A POD
Madonna (or shall we say Esther?) takes time from her Re-Invention world tour Tuesday at New York's Madison Square Garden to strike a pose with another controversial figure, director Michael Moore, whose documentary Fahrenheit 911 hits screens June 25.
'N Sync's Joey Fatone jokes around Wednesday during a sneak preview rehearsal of Broadway's Little Shop of Horrors. The singer-actor, who in 2002 starred in Rent, will debut as Seymour on June 24.
Now here's a good-looking couple (even if it is only for the camera): Catherine Zeta-Jones gets cozy with costar Brad Pitt while filming Ocean's Twelve in Rome on Wednesday.
Bette Midler (right) shows Sarah Jessica Parker some appreciation at a New York Restoration Project gala in Manhattan's Swindler Cove Park on Thursday. The organization, founded by Midler in 1995, restores and develops the city's open spaces.
Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's Carson Kressley shows who wears the pants Thursday at Entertainment Weekly's Must List party at Crobar in New York.
