This is the third annual fundraising broadcast for Stand Up to Cancer. The organization was founded in 2007 by a group of women who had all been affected by cancer. Their hope was to enlist the media and entertainment industries in the fight against the disease.

Stand Up to Cancer will be broadcast live on NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX from L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium on Sept. 7 at 8 p.m.
