The Grammy-winning artist spent her weekend helping wait tables at Resident Taqueria, a new restaurant in Dallas, Texas, owner Amy Savoie confirmed to PEOPLE. “She’s a family member of the owner,” she added.
St. Vincent (née Annie Clark) was spotted working at the taqueria by eagle-eyed fans, who happily snapped pictures of the musician as she traded her guitar for an apron.
“Dallas people, go to @residenttaqueria this weekend and let waitress extraordinaire @st_vincent serve you delicious tacos y margaritas,” one fan wrote along with a photo of St. Vincent mugging for the camera. “Seriously, the food is amazing. #shortribtacos #palomastoo.”
Resident Taqueria probably could have used the extra help as they officially opened their doors this weekend.
St. Vincent had teased her new career on Instagram, posting a shot of the restaurant’s walls on Friday.
She wrote, “Hello, Dallas!!!!”
