The Spice Girls Reunite and Add a New Member – Latina Spice!
The '90s girl group posed for photos together during David Beckham's 40th birthday party
Sorry birthday boy! It may have been David Beckham‘s big night on Saturday, but an unexpected mini-reunion of his wife Victoria Beckham‘s former pop group, the Spice Girls, definitely stole the spotlight
David celebrated the big 4-0 on Saturday with his family by his side at a star-studded bash in Marrakech, Morocco. It was the presence of Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton that really spiced up the party, though.
In a series of photos posted by both Victoria and actress Eva Longoria (who also got in on the fun), Posh, Sporty, Baby and Ginger Spice of the popular ’90s girl group happily relived the Girl Power era.
In the photos, Bunton, Halliwell, and Chisholm are all clad in all white, while Victoria looked sexy in a long, black belted dress. Longoria adds, “I’m the new Spice Girl! #LatinaSpice @victoriabeckham @emmabunton @MelanieCmusic @gerihalliwell,” she captioned on Instagram, taking over the role of missing member Mel B..
Dvid also got in on the fun, posing with the group for a fun photo.
“Great to see these shy and retiring ladies,” he joked. “Never a dull moment.”
The Spice Girls made headlines and sparked actual reunion rumors back in February when four, previously unreleased tracks from the group were leaked . While the tracks turned out to be older – recorded around the time of their final album Forever, fans were still thrilled to hear new hits from the beloved band.
