The American trio who took down a suspected terrorist aboard a Paris-bound train received a heroes’ welcome at a Sacramento Kings game on Wednesday night.

Sacramento natives Spencer Stone, Anthony Sadler and Alek Skarlatos were celebrated at the Kings’s season opener at Sleep Train Arena, KCRA reports.

The three men were presented with glass sealed NBA basketballs and a lifetime supply of pizza. Skarlatos’ brother accepted the gifts on his behalf as he was unable to attend – Skarlatos is currently a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.

“It s pretty cool,” Sadler told the news station. “I’ve been at games in the stands before, but it feels a little different when you re down on the court, so it’s pretty cool for sure.”

Stone appeared in good health, having been released from the hospital two weeks ago after being stabbed multiple times outside of a Sacramento, California bar.

He was attacked while reportedly coming to the defense of a woman who was allegedly being hit by another man, witness Eric Cain told PEOPLE.

At Wednesday night’s game, Stone said his recovery is “going well,” adding, “Yeah, still feel like crap, but every day I get a little better.”
