“Angry Grandpa” has built a reputation for himself on the Internet for his, well, angry demeanor. His YouTube channel, which has over 1.3 million followers, features videos of the typically grumpy man, Charles Green, reacting to his son Michael’s pranks.

Yet Green couldn’t be angry at his son’s latest gag, which turned out to be the surprise of a lifetime: Michael had bought him a house.

“For the past few months, Bridget and I have been planning a huge prank on Angry Grandpa,” Michael, whose wife was in on the act, reveals to the camera. “We’ve been taking my dad house-hunting with us under the pretense that he’s looking for a house for me and Bridget. The only problem is, he’s been looking for his own. Dad – I got you a house.”

Enter Angry Grandpa, who walks around the place in total amazement, commenting on how great it will be for his son and daughter-in-law.

“This is a really nice house,” he says. “Look how big these rooms are, Mike! Man, you are so lucky.”

“Put me a bed in here so I can spend the night sometimes,” he adds.

After a few minutes of showing his dad the house, Mike makes the emotional reveal. “I have something to confess – we’re not searching for a house for us.”

“Then what the hell we doing here?”

“This is your house, Pop.”

Green immediately breaks down, crying into his son’s arms and saying how much he loves him.

“My whole world revolves around you,” Green says through tears. “I love you more than life itself.”

Only five days after it was posted, the emotional video received 3 million views – and likely caused just as many tears.
