Desperate to beat fellow celebrity philanthropist Jeremy Piven's haul of $280,000 during a 2009 charity auction for a children's nonprofit, Theron threw in a last-minute offer of a seven-second liplock. "Swine flu is going around. This is high-risk kissing!" she joked. The winner – a woman who plopped down $140,000 – ended up with a 20-second onstage smooch.

The actor puckered up in the name of AIDS research when a young woman offered up a whopping $350,000 for a kiss from the salt-and-pepper hunk during a 2007 charity auction. When fellow attendee Ellen Barkin quipped that she would've coughed up a half million, Clooney gave her one for free.

When a woman offered $40,000 to pay for Thanksgiving dinners for the homeless at a 2003 Hollywood charity event, the Basic Instinct star upped the ante by offering her lip service if the bid went up to a cool $50,000. For her money's worth, Stone offered the lucky lady a lengthy, and by all accounts passionate, kiss.

James Bond, aka Daniel Craig left one woman stirred, not shaken, when he, Hugh Grant and Robbie Coltrane gave her a three-for-one kiss at a 2008 charity auction to raise money for a British performance-arts school. The winner was hardly new to the idea of romance with dashing Brits, though – she was Barbara Broccoli (pictured), longtime producer of the 007 flicks.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson sold off not one but two kisses at $20,000 a pop during a 2009 charity auction for AIDS research in Cannes, France. But if the winners were expecting to play the role of Bella in the franchise's steamier scenes, they were disappointed – Pattinson (pictured with movie mogul Harvey Weinstein) offered only chaste kisses on the cheek.

While raising money for GLAAD at the LGBT-rights group's media awards on March 24 in New York City, John Stamos and Glee costars Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera all smooched for a good cause – at $5,000 apiece – in a simultaneous three-couple liplock.
