PHOTOS: Stars Toast the Opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture

Celebrities and activists flocked to the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 23 to celebrate the opening of the long-awaited National Museum of African American History and Culture on the National Mall. On Jan. 12, ABC will air highlights from the evening during Taking the Stage, a two-hour special featuring artists like Mary J. Blige, Oprah Winfrey, John Legend and Jada Pinkett Smith.
