Sinéad O'Connor Debuts Two New Tattoos – on Her Face
The musician paid tribute to a man named Brendan Quinlan with some new ink
Now that’s commitment.
Sinéad O’Connor debuted two brand new accessories when she performed at the Bestival 2013 in England on Friday – facial tattoos done in red ink.
Wearing sunglasses to shield her eyes, O’Connor’s prominent tattoos in the shape of a “B” and a “Q” couldn’t be hidden.
The Irish singer, 46, addressed the new ink on her website in a post titled, “Face Tattoo.”
“Brendan Quinlan.. ‘It’s what it is’ .. Un ange passe ;),” she wrote, dropping a name and referring to a French expression for an awkward silence. “There’s a bottle of Agent Provocateur in someone’s room that Belongs to me.”
While O’Connor’s relationship with someone named Quinlan is unclear, she’s had rocky relationships in the past. In 2012, she married to Barry Herridge in a Las Vegas ceremony, but the couple separated just 16 days later.
At the time, O’Connor seemed to have called it quits on finding love, writing on her blog, “I will never again associate myself romantically with anyone.”
