Shannen Doherty Undergoes Another Round of Radiation with Her Mother by Her Side

The actress shared on Instagram that she had Christmas shopping to look forward to after her treatment

Shannen Doherty had her mother by her side as she underwent another round of radiation on Tuesday.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress, who is battling breast cancer, documented her visit to the doctor’s office with a post on Instagram.

“Another day of #radiation. Today my mom came with me because Even though I’m so tired after, I’m going Christmas shopping!!! Got to get @kurtiswarienko a present!! I love the holidays,” she captioned a photo of herself and her mother at the hospital.

Doherty, 45, has been actively sharing her cancer journey on social media since she revealed her diagnosis to PEOPLE in August 2015, including her first day of radiation when she admitted, “I hate it.”

Last week, Doherty praised members of her medical team for their support in her battle.

“Another day of radiation. Meet Anna and Vince, 2 members of my radiation team. They make a concerted effort to talk to me and show me what’s going on in this process so I don’t feel so out of control in it,” Doherty captioned a photo of herself in a hospital gown with two thumbs up beside two members of her supportive team.

“Never be too timid to speak up and ask for what you need to get thru the process. None of this is easy but a great team can make it more pleasant. #cancerslayer #fightlikeagirl #warrior #communicationiskey,” she encouraged fans.
