Celebrity Settled: Jagger Child Support By Serena Kappes Published on May 26, 1998 12:00 AM Share Tweet Pin Email After a two-year-long legal battle, Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, 57, agreed to financial terms for his 21-month-old son, Lucas Maurice Morad Jagger, with his former lover, Brazilian lingerie model Luciana Morad, 30, according to Reuters. Jagger, who testified via phone from London to the Manhattan Family Court, reportedly submitted to paying an undisclosed sum for his son until he reaches the age of 21 (Morad was seeking $35,000 a month, while Jagger wanted to pay $5,600 a month). Members of the press were barred from the legal proceedings, which resulted in a 12-page-long agreement, including confidentiality terms. Raoul Felder, Morad’s normally outspoken attorney, reported that one of the reasons for keeping the hearing private was because of the danger of disclosing the child support figures for Morad and her son, who spend a lot of time in Brazil, “where kidnapping is quite common.” He added, “With these kind of numbers, the child may be in danger. She may be in danger herself.” Jagger also has four children from his 22-year relationship with model-actress Jerry Hall, 44, which ended in August 1999 with a $15 million annulment.
