Selena Gomez Reunites with Former Fling Zedd for Jingle Ball Performance, Calls Him Her 'Babes'
The 'I Want You to Know' collaborators came together for a performance at N.Y.C.'s Jingle Ball on Friday
On Friday, Selena Gomez reunited with former flame Zedd to perform their song “I Want You to Know” at New York City’s Z100 Jingle Ball.
Afterwards, Gomez, 23, posted a picture of the performance on Instagram, showing Gomez pointing up at Zedd in his DJ booth as she sings along to their hit collaboration.
“My babes @Zedd and I performing tonight for @z100newyork @iheartradio,” she wrote. “SO grateful to wrap up this year with the best people. Thank you NY!!”
Justin Bieber on Getting Back with Selena Gomez: ‘I’m Sure It Could Possibly Happen’
In July, Gomez confirmed that she and the DJ did in fact date for a short while earlier in the year, after Diplo claimed it was all a publicity stunt to promote their song.
“He said that was a joke!” she told New Zealand’s radio show The Edge Afternoons. “I adore Anton [Zedd] a lot and I definitely had a thing with him, which was nice.”
Lately, rumors have been flying about Gomez’s love life after being spotted out with on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber several times and, more recently, One Direction’s Niall Horan. (Which Gomez sorta denied.) But the actress-singer claims she’s just having fun getting back into the dating scene.
“I hate [dating]. It’s hard,” Gomez told InStyle UK in November. “I’m weirded out by the idea that a guy has Googled me before we meet, and that has happened.”
She added, “I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys.”
