Selena Gomez wants to take you on a journey.

The Wizards of Waverly Place star announced on her MySpace blog that she’s filming a Web series called Under Pressure that will chronicle the making of her first album, which she hopes to release in September.

“I am filming my journey through this so you can see how hard I am working to do my best,” writes Gomez, 16. “I am going through change, growth and failure just like everyone else, except mine is open for public scrutiny. Not everything you try in life is a major success.”

So far the Disney Channel star has been on a roll: Her TV series has been picked up for a third season, and she’s starring in the feature film Beezus and Ramona, which she’s shooting in Vancouver for three more days, according to her Twitter page.

Gomez, who has recently been spotted strolling arm-in-arm with Twilight series star Taylor Lautner, 17, says she will be in an intense music boot camp when she returns to L.A.

“I have taken my time to find my sound, I have worked hard and about to work even harder,” she writes. “Anybody who tries to bring me down only inspires me.”
