George and Amal Clooney certainly have a lot to celebrate as they ring in their second wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

The international human rights lawyer, 38, and Money Monster actor are happier than ever and it seems the secret to their marriage is finding the perfect balance between work and quality time together.

On Sept. 16, Amal spoke for the first time in front of the United Nations urging the prosecution of ISIS leaders for genocide. Just five days earlier, George, 55, teamed up with actor Don Cheadle to present a ground-breaking investigation done through his organization The Sentry on Sudanese war profiteering.

But “between all their important work, they always stay focused on keeping their marriage happy and healthy,” says a source. “They are very keen on not spending too much time apart.”

One way the couple has managed to do this is by combining work with fun activities. For example, the couple snuck in low-profile dinner dates on the French Riviera while George promoted Money Monster at the Cannes Film Festival.

This summer, they also spent several weeks at their villa on Lake Como where they dined at their favorite restaurants and hung out with friends and family.

“They look more in love than ever,” says Paolo Quarantotto, the owner of local restaurant Il Gatto Nero. “They are still in the honeymoon mode. So attentive with each other.”
