The reality star talks about his expanding family and his tough year
On Friday night, Scott Disick waltzed into a Las Vegas nightclub with a smile on his face, friends at his side and a large group of people chanting his name.
But for the reality star, the thrill of this year will come next month when his longtime girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, gives birth to the couple’s third child. (They are already parents to Penelope, 2, and Mason, 4.)
“I’ve been there before, and I’m excited,” he told PEOPLE before hosting a “royal party” at Mirage’s 1 OAK nightclub, where he sipped on vodka and threw faux $100 dollar bills (that had his face on them!) into the crowd.
The arrival of baby No. 3 will certainly serve as a silver lining in Disick’s difficult year, which saw him lose his father, Jeffrey Disick – just months after his mother, Bonnie Disick, passed away.
Asked how he’s found the strength to cope, Disick responded: “I wish I had an answer for you but I don’t. Listen, if I did I would tell you if I knew. It has been a tough time, and, you know, just like anyone who has been through something tough, I just have to think about the positive things and hope for the best.”
