Scott Disick is a “family first” kind of guy.

To be fair, money was once everything for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and then he had kids.

“I like making money, but I like being at home, too,” he told PEOPLE on Saturday at Las Vegas’s 1 OAK nightclub. “I’ve realized that money is not everything I used think it was. Being at home is more important.”

Family is more important?

“I think so,” he said.

That may sound funny to the average viewer of the ever-popular E! reality show. But, Disick, 31, is well aware of what is said about him – he parties too much, etc. – but none of that really bothers him.

“I try not to look into what people are saying about me anymore. A decent amount of the time it’s probably not true, so I don’t want to drive myself too crazy,” he said.

“People always have something to say about me,” he continued. “Listen, if it causes somebody some kind of happiness in their lives, so be it. I watch TV and movies for entertainment. Some people wanna read things, so more power to them.”

On Saturday he eschewed the stereotypes about him. Drinking water, Disick, along with his longtime girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, took a slight break from their kids, hanging out at 1 OAK. However, that s not to say the couple s kids weren t on their minds. In fact, after the club, the couple took the short flight back to Los Angeles to be with Mason, Penelope and new baby Reign.

“We’ve been fortunate enough to have three amazing kids,” Disick said. “They don’t really make our lives any harder, they make it easier, because you kind of realize what life’s about. We re pretty fortunate for that and I thank God for that.”
