Film director Martin Scorsese (“Taxi Driver,” “Raging Bull,” “GoodFellas”) married book editor Helen Morris in New York last week, a spokesman for Scorsese announced Tuesday. It was the 56-year-old Scorsese’s fifth marriage and the second marriage for Morris. She worked with Scorsese on a companion book to his 1997 movie “Kundun,” about Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama. No details of the marriage were released.

  • In other news of Scorsese, the coffers of his pet project, the Film Foundation (which works for preservation), was boosted at a New York movie memorabilia charity auction last night when Leonardo DiCaprio paid $35,000 for a poster of “Raging Bull” signed by Scorsese and the movie’s star, Robert De Niro.
