What do you get a guy who has everything?

Ryan Reynolds, who turned 37 on Wednesday, was honored on his birthday by Madame Tussauds Hollywood with the unveiling of his likeness in wax.

PEOPLE’s former Sexiest Man Alive was so immortalized after fans were asked to vote on which celebrity they would like to see at Madame Tussauds.

In a close race, he beat out Ryan Gosling, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson and Sofia Vergara.

It took months to fashion his figure, with 20 artists taking more than 200 measurements and using about 330 pounds of clay.

Seeing the finished product, a grateful Reynolds thanked the artists for their hard work, adding, “This is undoubtedly the largest and most spectacular birthday candle I’ve ever received.”
