A bunch of people have covered Taylor Swift‘s “Bad Blood,” but Ryan Adams is taking it a step further – he’s recording an entire album of Swift covers.

Adams, 40, confirmed on Twitter on Wednesday that he is recording covers of Swift’s 1989 album. Yep, every single song.

Swift, 25, was quick to react to the news, Tweeting, “Is this true??????? I WILL PASS OUT.”

“Yes. Just finished Style. Badass tunes, Taylor,” Adams replied. “We’re sandblasting them and they’re holding steady.”

Is Katy Perry Throwing Shade at Taylor Swift?!

“Cool I’m not gonna be able to sleep tonight or ever again and I’m going to celebrate today every year as a holiday. I’M CALM,” Swift responded.

“Ok, so I shouldn’t share this clip then ” Adams wrote, posting a snippet of his version of “Welcome to New York,” which he described on Instagram as the “guaranteed saddest version of Welcome to New York ever – or your tears back.”
