After posting a shocking photo of herself swollen and bloody, Roseanne Barr says she was just joking about getting in a “tussle” with Bill Cosby.

Early on Wednesday, the comedian allegedly Tweeted a photo of herself looking beaten with the caption: “tussle w bill cosby.” She followed up a minute later, Tweeting, “U should see that mfer.”

Rarely one to apologize, Barr, 62, deleted her Tweets and stated that she was only joking. “Got a chemical peel to look more sexier. Joked about tussling cosby,” she Tweeted a couple of hours later.

A frequent Tweeter, Barr has been weighing in on the various allegations of sexual abuse leveled against Cosby, mainly in the form of re-Tweeting memes and news stories.

However, prior to her chemical-peel Tweet, Barr had been treading relatively carefully. When asked for her opinion on the Cosby allegations, she told New York’s Daily News on Thursday: “I don t wanna get sued or have [Cosby] send anyone to beat me up, but I think it s obvious: 13 to 1.”

The situation “is the best and the worst thing,” she added. “It s horrible when you peel back the curtain and see what s behind it, but it s so great that people now have the capacity to actually look at the truth and see how it adds up.
