Susan Williams sits down with Good Morning America for her first interview since his death
Susan Williams, Robin Williams‘ widow, is opening up for the first time about the late actor’s death, his final days and how she’s healing from the loss.
“It’s the best love I ever dreamed of,” Williams says in a clip from her upcoming Good Morning America interview released by ABC.
In the clip, Williams is seen breaking down in tears when Amy Robach asks if the actor was “spiraling out of control” before his death.
Williams goes on to describe finding her husband’s body the day he committed suicide. “I just screamed, ‘Robin what happened? What did you do?’ ”
The clip also features snippets of never-before-seen home videos of Susan and Robin dancing together at their wedding, more of which will be played when the show airs.
The full interview will premiere on Good Morning America on Tuesday, and more footage will air later that evening on Nightline at 12:35amET/PT.
