Rhys-Jones's Wax Job

Two days after the announcement that Sophie Rhys-Jones was engaged to Prince Edward, the Madame Tussaud’s waxworks museum said Friday that fashioning a replica of her had become “a top priority.” Rhys-Jones’ long-term relationship with the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II already had gained the attention of the museum, one of London’s premier tourist attractions. “She has been on our list of people to make into waxworks for about a year,” spokeswoman Beth Lockwood said. Lockwood said the museum would decide in two weeks whether to proceed with the replica, and would approach Rhys-Jones before beginning work. If all systems are go, Rhys-Jones, 33, would have to pose for an hour and have measurements and photographs taken.
