Talk about Sex and the City: Cynthia Nixon’s love life got major play in New York’s tabloids Friday morning, with screaming front-page headlines about her current “romance with a woman,” as the Daily News declared.

Both the Daily News and New York Post reported that Nixon has been dating an unnamed girlfriend following her June 2003 split with Danny Mozes, the father of her two children.

Nixon told the News: “My private life is private. But at the same time, I have nothing to hide. So what I will say is that I am very happy.”

The actress, 38, won an Emmy last Sunday for her role as the lawyer, Miranda, in the HBO series, which has now been sanitized and is running in syndication.

According to the Daily News, Nixon and Mozes remain friendly. The pair have two children: Samantha, 8, and Charles, who will be 2 in December.
