We can rebuild it. We have the technology. We can make it better than it was. Better, stronger, faster … and just plain crazy.

That’s exactly what Tesla did. The new Model S P85D electric sports car from the company features a dual-motor, which allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, according to Forbes.

For drivers who have trouble grasping what this acceleration feels like, Tesla equipped their new cars with “Insane Mode.” This terrifying treat is activated by bringing the vehicle to a full stop and switching it to the featured setting. The result is a sudden jolt of speed that will leave you speechless – or at least with a few choice words.

To demonstrate the madness behind the Model S P85D’s “Insane Mode,” YouTube account DragTimes gave a test drive to a few cautious passengers.
