Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen are no longer an item – but that doesn’t mean they can’t hang out.

The always friendly exes reunited at one of their old favorite haunts, Meltdown Comics and Collectibles, in L.A. on Friday.

The Masters of Sex actor, 46, and Aloha star, 36, came out to support famed graphic novelist and Oscar-nominated screenwriter Daniel Clowes, who posted a pic of himself with the former couple to Twitter.

McAdams and Sheen first went public with their relationship at the Cannes Film Festival in 2011, after meeting a year earlier on the set of Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. The former co-stars later broke off their relationship in March 2013.

“They still have some contact and are friendly,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “They tried to work things out, but at the end they just couldn’t agree. It caused some frustration and they thought it was better to go separate ways.”

The two remained friendly as they began dating other people. Sheen has been seeing Sarah Silverman since 2012 and McAdams has been linked to music manager Patrick Sambrook.
