Scott A. Stutesman, a longtime fan of the late cowboy star Roy Rogers, stands accused of possessing personal items — among them, a red, white and blue pair of cowboy boots and a white Stetson hat — that are believed to have been stolen from the Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum in Victorville, Calif. After police searched his home, Stutesman, 41, of Wilber, Neb., was charged with receiving cowboy contraband worth more than $1,500. Roy Rogers Jr., the late actor’s son, identified numerous clothing items seized in the search as property of the museum. A hearing has been set for April 10.
