Queen Mum Sings Again

Why they’ll always be an England: A very fit Queen Mother, 98, unveiled a statue of her great friend, the playwright and wit Noel Coward, in the foyer of the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, in London this week. As she quipped to an official standing beside her: “Now that Sir John Gielgud can’t sing anymore, I’m the oldest person alive to remember all of Noel’s songs.”
