PRINCE WILLIAM'S DIGIT

Pain must mean nothing to Prince William. Britain’s Sun tabloid claims Wills, 16, broke his finger — his left index one — playing rugby in a school match at Eton and then waited three weeks before going for an X-ray. A Royal spokesman confirmed the break but would not go into details. “Wills, who is left-handed, finally decided to go to (the) hospital because the sore finger was ‘annoying him,'” said the Sun. The game in which the injury took place reportedly occurred before Christmas, yet it did nothing to stop Wills from hunting and shooting over the school break. After the X-ray, said the Sun, the royal hand was placed in a “Bedford Splint,” and William was told to avoid all sports for at least six weeks.
