When you’re a prince, your aspirations might normally be taken to include: “rule kingdom (one day), marry young maiden, and live in a palace.”

Not for Prince Harry. He wants to be a professional surfer, a wildlife photographer and a helicopter pilot. He’s well on his way to one of those as the prince, 25, is a trainee Apache attack helicopter pilot. But he might have to wait some time for his fourth wish – to “live in Africa.”

This last hope, written on a sketch of his body during a trip to Lesotho, Africa, was underlined and followed with an explanation. His girlfriend Chelsy Davy, 24, is from Zimbabwe, and he spends so much time in the continent that earlier this week he joked that it was causing his father, Prince Charles, concern.

Harry was making his dreams known during a confidence building exercise, where, alongside his brother Prince William, 27, children from a peer support group for teenagers with HIV drew their royal outlines. For his part, William said he hopes to be a “helicopter pilot” (he is in the final training to lead search and rescue chopper teams in the Royal Air Force.) He also described himself as “happy, lucky, strong, caring,” while his younger brother wrote “ginger” – before adding his own dig at William’s outline writing “loser.”

The princes are on a six-day tour of southern Africa and arrived Friday in Cape Town, South Africa, where they will visit a hospital and watch England play Algeria in the World Cup.

Next weekend, Prince Harry arrives in New York, where he will throw the first pitch at a New York Mets game and play a charity polo match Sunday to raise funds for American Friends of Sentebale.
