No surprise here: Good looks run in the Royal Family, as the most recently released photograph of Prince George further proves.

But whom should the royal baby thank most for his regal D.N.A.?

Early pictures of parents Prince William and Kate begin to reveal just whom the 8-month-old is taking after. In a photograph of the Duchess of Cambridge, 32, snapped when she was a tot, her rounded cheeks, button nose and doe-eyed expression resemble little George’s own cuteness.

However, George’s fair hair is an adorable throwback to a young William, 31.

The new family portrait was released by the couple as they make their final preparations for a three-week tour of New Zealand and Australia. The casual snapshot also marked Kate’s first Mother’s Day on Sunday (the U.K. celebrates on an earlier day than the U.S.).

Still not sure whom the prince most resembles? Royal baby watchers will get their next glimpse at the growing prince on April 7, when he will be carried from a plane arriving in Wellington, New Zealand.
