Presley Saves Name

A California jury has ordered movie producers Bud Grant and Robert Burge and leading Hollywood publicist Lee Solters (whose clients have included Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand and Michael Jackson) to pay actress Priscilla Presley $1.74 million in compensatory and punitive damages. In her suit, Presley, 53, claimed they had wrongfully used her name in a press release that said she had been offered the opportunity to consult on a movie based on an unauthorized biography about her.
