Blake Lively continues to do no wrong when it comes to fashion.

The stylish new mom, who gave birth to her second child last month, looked gorgeous on her date night with husband Ryan Reynolds Wednesday, on which she wore a blue-hued printed maxi dress, dark blue boots and a long light blue coat.

The couple stepped out for a night at the theater, catching a performance of Sunday In The Park With George starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Annaleigh Ashford (Masters of Sex), which has a limited three-day run at New York City Center.

Lively and Reynolds’s theater date comes one day after The Shallows star pulled out all the stops to celebrate her husband’s 40th birthday at the couple’s favorite restaurant, O Ya in New York City. Lively, 29, shared a photo from the celebratory evening on Instagram, thanking the Japanese restaurant for playing an important part in the couple’s love story: ““@_o_ya_ We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston. We stay in love at your restaurant in NY. Thank you for the BEST food and memories! You are our FAVORITE!! Another happy birthday with @vancityreynolds . Hey, Reynolds, I like you a whole lot. Just sayin’,” Lively captioned the photo.

The couple’s romantic evening was seemingly kid-free, as their children: 22-month-old James and their second child, who is three-weeks-old, were not pictured and likely home with a sitter or nanny. Lively and Reynolds, who married in 2012, have yet to reveal their new baby’s sex or name.

Reynolds may have accidentally spilled the beans that the couple welcomed another daughter. The actor had fans freaking out when he made a joke on Twitter about his daughter’s crib. “The mobile above my daughter’s crib is just a whole bunch of NuvaRings. So she remembers how lucky she is,” he tweeted.
