The future of Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren’s marriage is about as clear clear as the golf champ’s opaque explanation of past sins in his private life. But now that he has all but admitted infidelity, separation or even divorce seems a possibility for what was once thought to have been a model couple.

Married for five years, the pair met in 2001, when Nordegren, a former model then working as a nanny for Swedish pro golfer Jesper Parnevik, were introduced at the British Open. The famously private duo have two young children, daughter Sam Alexis, born in 2007, and son Charlie Axel, born in February, and rarely popped up in gossip columns – until Woods’s recent one-car accident, reportedly sparked by an argument over his alleged affair with New York nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel.

Now, the pair are reportedly in counseling and renegotiating their prenup – and speculation has focused on what’s next for Tiger’s wronged wife.
