She also shares her feelings on Elizabeth Banks bowing out of directing Pitch Perfect 3
The cast of Pitch Perfect 3 has yet to see the script for the third installment of their beloved a cappella film franchise, but they have plenty to keep them busy in the meantime.
“I’m in the wedding,” Snow, who is the new face of Coppertone Clearly Sheer, tells PEOPLE. “We’re in all the midst of planning and bridal shower, and all things Anna and Skylar.”
“It’s funny since I’ve known them from the beginning of them meeting and dating, and to now see them get married is pretty surreal,” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s our own little Pitch Perfect family.”
Hanging out off-screen is business as usual for the ultra-tight cast, Snow says.
“We’re on a massive text chain with each other,” Snow says. “We all really love and support each other.”
Coming up on Pitch Perfect 3, however, the aca-crew will be missing their captain at the helm – Elizabeth Banks, who directed the second installment, won’t be returning to direct the third. Banks said she bowed out for family reasons.
“I completely understand her reasons, because she does really care about her children,” Snow says. “The movie was pushed because and some scheduling things have conflicted.”
Snow and the rest of the cast, however, aren’t too worried about missing Banks – she’ll be executive producing the third film, even though she won’t be directing.
“We know that we’re in good hands, because she’s still executive producing,” Snow says. “We have such a cohesive system in place with all the girls and the people behind the scenes, that a new director will just add a new take, but it won’t take away from it.”
