A young boy with Williams syndrome got the thrill of a lifetime when his older brother took him on a helicopter ride for the first time.
In a video that has garnered over 116,000 YouTube views, vlogger and pilot Michael McMahon is seen soaring over the Irish countryside with his ecstatic younger brother, Robbie.
“My brother Robbie has Williams syndrome and I had the honor of taking him flying, which was a massive thing for Robbie,” Michael captions the video.
Williams syndrome, a genetic condition that affects 1 in 10,000 people worldwide, is present at birth and is characterized by medical problems, developmental delays and learning disabilities.
As Michael prepares to take off, Robbie gazes out of his window – excited for the adventure.
When the helicopter soars into the air, Robbie shouts, “Happy! We’re flying!”
Michael can’t help but smile at his brother’s enthusiasm.

“Happy! Happy!” he replies.
During their flight, Robbie even receives a radio call for “Captain Robbie.”
As Michael navigates the plane back toward the ground he gives his brother a thumbs up.
“I’m back” Robbie shouts in response.
It’s not hard to see the brotherly bond between these two!
