Basketball fans, get “Happy”: Pharrell Williams will open this year’s NBA All-Star Game.

The Grammy-winning (and Oscar-nominated) artist, 40, is set to perform during player introductions at the annual exhibition Feb. 16.

He promises to bring along some surprise guests, but we’re mostly hoping for an encore of that magnificent Mountie hat.

Kendrick Lamar, Janelle Monée and Earth, Wind & Fire will also take their musical talents to New Orleans during the NBA All-Star 2014 Entertainment Series, sponsored by Sean John at Macy’s.

The weekend kicks off Valentine’s Day with the Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

This year’s roster includes comedian Kevin Hart (the reigning MVP), America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon and actors Columbus Short and Michael B. Jordan.

Two days later, the pros will take the court for the main event.

Catch the 63rd NBA All-Star Game on TNT and ESPN Radio at 8 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, Feb. 16.
