Weight lost: 141 lbs.

Her weight loss journey: After being plagued by a host of health issues, including diabetes and sleep apnea, Valenzuela decided to change her path. She joined Weight Watchers, started to exercise, and just over a year later, she completed her first half marathon. Since, she's jumped out of planes, zip lined, white water rafted, and ran three more half marathons. "Now that everything is possible, the future is what I make of it," she says.

Weight lost: 257 lbs.

Her weight loss journey: After trying several weight loss programs, Gilpin downloaded the "Lose It!" app in 2013. With the app's help, she shed pounds and cured herself of sleep apnea. Before, she was always ashamed to take photos with her twin boys – this year, for her 45th birthday, she finally took that long-awaited-for picture.

Weight lost: 220 lbs.

Her weight loss journey: She started rehabbing her exercise routine, diving into boot camp classes and sessions with a personal trainer, and revamped her diet, ditching fast food for grilled chicken and vegetables. "I'm stronger than ever before," she says. "My only regret is not doing it sooner."

Her weight loss journey: After peaking at 310 lbs., Eason "knew I wanted and needed to make a change," she says. She did just that with intermittent fasting and cutting out caffeine, pork, beef and bread, as well as making a point of eating breakfast everyday.

Weight lost: 255 lbs.

His weight loss journey: Being labeled "morbidly obese" in June 2014 at 453 lbs. was a wake-up call for Phillips, who shed the weight with a regular 1,500-calorie workout and laps in the pool.

Her weight loss journey: Focusing on losing just five pounds at a time was an easier battle for Harris, who credits Weight Watchers with her new physique. "I felt defeated because there was so much to lose," she says. "Five pounds was a lot easier to wrap my brain around."

His weight loss journey: It was when he realized his health was at risk that Brasil decided to make a change. "Even though I was in my early 30s, I could not see myself living past 50," he shares. Jogging and the Jenny Craig plan helped him get fit and drop more than 170 lbs.

His weight loss journey: Leonard's daughter motivated her to conquer her weight loss goals. "As I watched her play, I felt trapped inside of my body," she says. Once 436 lbs., Leonard shed pounds by joining Weight Watchers and doing Tae Bo – she's now an instructor.
