Things have improved between Paula Abdul and a mystery man after she called 911 from the car during a Valentine’s Day spat.

“Arguments with loved ones are often times heated,” a rep for Abdul says in a statement. “After the call was made everything was worked out.”

In the 911 call obtained by TMZ Thursday, the Live to Dance host, 48, is heard sobbing hysterically, begging to be let out of the car, which was on the freeway near Santa Barbara.

“I want out of this car and he won’t let me!” Abdul tells the operator, then asks the driver, “Are you gonna drop me off? Are you gonna drop me off, ’cause I have emergency on the phone.”

There is no word on what caused the fight or the identity of the man.
