Like many family members and friends, Tyrese Gibson continues to struggle with the untimely death of Paul Walker in a car crash on Saturday.

Gibson posted a heartfelt message to his Facebook account on Tuesday, mourning his Fast and the Furious costar.

“In moments like this, it feels – it feels like death has won. But the Bible says that love is stronger than death,” Gibson wrote, paraphrasing a funeral sermon by Bishop T.D. Jakes.

“Your tears may flow. Your pain may come,” Gibson continued. “You’ll be driving down the street one day and you’ll hear Paul’s voice talking in your head. Something he said or something he did will pop up in your spirit and you’ll giggle inside of yourself as if he were sitting in the car with you. And you will find that people that you really love, they may leave you outwardly, but they never leave you inwardly.”

On Monday, Gibson created a Facebook post entitled, “My open letter to God … ”

“My heart is hurting so badly but in this darkness you used me as a light with my brothers family tonight. … Use me up father God I owe you … ”
